How To Improve Your Putting: Drills That Actually Work
The putting drills that fix the most common problems — gate drills, mirror work, and distance control training that you can do at home before any round.

Eye Position First
Most inconsistent putting starts with eyes not directly over the ball at address. A putting alignment mirror fixes this in one session — you see the reflection and immediately know if you are set up correctly.
The Gate Drill
Place two tees just wider than the putter head at the equator. If you miss the gate, the path is the problem, not the face. Do this 20 times before every range session for two weeks.
Distance Control Over Accuracy
Three-putts come from distance, not direction. Hit 10 putts from 30 feet and try to leave every one within 18 inches. Track misses short vs long, then adjust your stroke length, not your aim.
WYX Pick
The WYX Putting Alignment Mirror shows eye line, ball position, and putter path simultaneously. The highest ROI training aid for casual golfers who want to stop three-putting.
