How To Improve Your Golf Swing At Home (No Range Needed)
Practical golf swing drills you can do at home — no range, no balls, no simulator required. For weekend golfers who want to build better habits between rounds.

The Mirror Drill
Set up in front of a full-length mirror and rehearse your setup and takeaway. Check your posture, spine angle, and knee flex. Most swing problems start before the club moves.
The Towel Drill
Fold a towel and place it under both armpits. Make half swings without dropping the towel. This teaches connected arm motion and stops the over-the-top move.
Tempo Training
Use a weighted tempo trainer or a 7-iron with slow-motion swings. Count a 3-to-1 ratio: three beats back, one beat through. Slow practice ingrains timing faster than fast swings.
Putting On Carpet
A putting alignment mirror on carpet catches eye position and face angle problems that cost strokes every round. 15 minutes a night is enough to build a repeatable stroke.
The Half-Swing Drill
Full swings magnify errors. Half swings reveal them. Take a 9-iron into the backyard and make controlled half swings until impact is consistent. Then add length gradually.
