Prepare For Weather Without Carrying A Closet

Use the forecast to choose one compact response: a light shell for rain, a layer for temperature, or sun protection for heat. Store rain gloves in a sealed pouch so they begin the day dry. A small refillable bottle and sunscreen are useful in most seasons. Avoid permanent pocket clutter by taking weather-specific gear back out after the round.

Charge, Refill, Replace

Charge electronic devices, refill the tee holder, replace dead batteries where applicable, and wipe down lenses. If you use a rangefinder, confirm it turns on before leaving home. If a product needs a subscription, app, or course download, handle that while you have reliable Wi-Fi. The best pre-round technology is technology you do not have to troubleshoot in the parking lot.

Give Everything A Home

Finish by assigning repeatable locations: balls in one pocket, valuables in one zipped pocket, glove stored flat, weather gear separated, and frequently used items within reach. A considered bag is not about owning more. It is about carrying the few things you trust and knowing exactly where they are when the round begins.
